Wise words to others?
1. You have one life and one body therefore LOVE yourself enough to take good care of your mind, body and spirituality
2. Set goals with the intention to reach them
3. Forgive yourself
4. Be patient with yourself, it didn’t take you a week to pick up the weight, it won’t take you a week to lose it either. Remember that this is a journey not a race!
5. Don’t EVER compare yourself to anyone! Everyone is different therefore our bodies respond differently to eating and training plans.
6. Believe you CAN!!! But you have to be determined and consistent
7. Don’t grow old before you witness your body’s beauty and strengths!
8. Don’t let the scale to determine your worth!!!
9. Don’t give up! You started for a reason

Wise words to others?
I’ve been trying to lose weight for more than 3 years now with no luck, nothing seemed to work. Starting and sticking to a healthy weight loss plan can sometimes seem impossible. I remember downloading diet plans and exercise applications but I was never able to follow any of those diets. I would tell myself today is the day I start but then I will just do it one day and the next day I start making excuses. But then I discovered Katleho’s 30 day challenge. I then asked myself how that would now make me change my lifestyle. Then I thought why not try and see. I am so happy to say that was the best thing for me. I had a 24/7 WhatsApp support group and that motivated me a lot because I would constantly get motivation every day to live a better life so that was kind of an alarm that rings every day.

Seeing people preparing different meals and exercising made me wake up and realize I can do this. It really kept me going. I started exercising every day in the morning and at night while watching tv. I started slow I tried not to push myself to hard because I didn’t want to give up too quickly. My body suddenly got used to the exercises, and I’m happy to say I now also go to gym 3 times a week. I don’t eat after 6 and I drink 4 litres of water a day. In 1 week I managed to lose a lot of weight by just following Katlehos diet and a few exercises a day. I learnt that exercise is as important as a healthy diet. I am so grateful to Katleho for all the motivation, diet plans and exercise videos.

My advice to anyone who is trying to lose weight and live a healthy lifestyle is Your diet is very important, If you can't control What goes into your body, you'll never be able to do it, Don’t Quit never quit because that takes you back to square one, Do not over exercise at first, if you can’t run 4km for example start by walking for 4 km then you will slowly get used to it. Drink a lot of water and do not eat after 6. Most importantly stay away from sugar that was my biggest problem. Lastly find a role model that will keep you motivated. How were you able to keep going?
I realised that I just needed to treat my body better and started to think of food as nourishment for my body and not purely for enjoyment. This helped me to enjoy and keep up with healthier eating.

Wise words to others?
Firstly accept that this journey won't be easy until it becomes a lifestyle. When you falter, don't give up on your entire goal, just pick up where you left off and start each day anew. Most importantly, ask for God's help because nothing is to small to pray about👏🏼
